3. Where will the retreat be held in Bermuda?
We are based out of Grotto Bay Beach Resort and Spa in Hamilton Parish, a 4 minute drive from L.F. Wade International Airport.
4. Is there a minimum age requirement to attend?
The retreat is generally suitable for adults. We ask all attendees be over the age of 18.
5. Are meals included in the retreat package?
All packages include a complimentary resort breakfast. More details regarding included meals, dietary options, and culinary experiences will be provided in the retreat itinerary closer to the event date. We ensure to accommodate your dietary needs as specified.
6. Do I need my passport?
Yes, a passport along with a round trip flight ticket is required to enter Bermuda.
7. Do I need vaccinations?
Vaccinations are not required to enter Bermuda.
8. What currency should I use?
In Bermuda, while the official currency is the Bermudian dollar (BMD), the United States dollar (USD) is widely accepted and can be used interchangeably in most places.
9. Are travel accommodations made through the B3 Retreat?
Although we will be responsible for your travel to the Grotto Bay once you enter Bermuda, all flights must be booked independently. We will be tracking flights for smooth hotel transport.
10. Do you offer payment plans?
Yes! There are payment plans offered through Klarna, Affirm, and After Pay, “buy now pay later” services offered while booking on squadtrip.com. Note, you must select paid in full in order to use “buy now pay later” services. Another option is to leave a down payment on a chosen credit card that will be automatically billed installment payments.
11. Do I have to be plant based to attend this retreat?
You don't have to be plant-based to join us at the retreat. We offer a variety of food options including meat, plant-based, vegetarian, vegan, and pescatarian choices.
12. How much spending money should I bring?
Although spending will vary on a individual basis, generically we suggest bringing $400 or more dollars when traveling internationally.
13. How do I get around Bermuda during my free time at the retreat?
While all excursions are optional and chosen by participants, transportation to these venues are included. For visits to other destinations, individual accommodations can be arranged through Grotto Bay. Additionally, there is bus transportation available every 20 minutes on weekdays and hourly on weekends.
14. What is the retreat itinerary?
Our itinerary is not typically published on our website and is exclusively for confirmed retreat attendees. You will receive your itinerary shortly after you book. The activities listed on the main page will generally be included in the itinerary, with potential changes beyond our control.
15. Is there Wi-Fi at the retreat? Is there laundry at the retreat?
there is Free WIFI to all guests provided by Grotto Bay although not accessible when off premise. There is complimentary access to off site laundry.
16. Is the retreat refundable?
The retreat fee is non-refundable. We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance to cover any potential cancellations. If you're unable to attend, we offer one-time transfers valid for up to one year. Any price differences for upgraded packages will be the responsibility of the client.
17. How is the Bermudian climate?
Bermuda enjoys a subtropical climate with mild winters and warm summers, making it an ideal year-round destination for outdoor activities.
18. Do I need experience in yoga and meditation to attend?
No prior experience in yoga or meditation is necessary to attend the retreat. Just come with an open mind and heart.
19. Where is Bermuda located?
A 21-square-mile island, Bermuda is located in the heart of the North Atlantic Ocean 600 miles from the nearest mainland. Bermuda is just 90 minutes from New York by air and two or three hours from major US East Coast cities like Atlanta, Boston, Miami and Philadelphia.
